MEET DAVID & SAVANNAH
David and Savannah Misenhelter are the husband-and-wife team behind North Grove Equestrian Park, a full-service eventing facility based in Oxford, Mississippi. With a shared passion for horses and a lifelong commitment to the sport, David and Savannah have built a program focused on developing both horses and riders through correct, consistent training and real-world experience in competition.
Their journey together began through a mutual love of eventing and horsemanship — values that continue to shape every part of their program. Today, they work side-by-side to train and show regularly, bringing young horses up the levels and helping students grow their skills and confidence in the sport.
David is known for his calm, methodical approach to training horses, with a special talent for starting young prospects and giving them a solid foundation for eventing. Savannah brings a sharp eye for detail, a passion for teaching, and a dedication to helping riders of all levels reach their goals — whether they're just beginning or aiming to move up the levels.
At North Grove, the Misenhelters take pride in creating a positive, professional, and family-friendly atmosphere. They believe that success in eventing comes from good horsemanship, thoughtful training, and a strong partnership between horse and rider — and they’re committed to helping each member of their program achieve just that.
